The district is seeking highly motivated individuals to be placed on the Substitute list for purposes of future full-time employment possibilities as well as year-round subbing. Hours can vary depending upon the building assignment weekly. We will train you! Pay is $14.64 per hour.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Working knowledge of modern cleaning methods.
- Skill in the use and care of cleaning materials and equipment.
- Ability to work independently with a minimum of written and/or oral instructions.
- Ability to work non-regular hours as necessary.
- Knowledge of OR-OSHA requirements that apply to assigned duties. Ability to
complete training in MSDS, asbestos, bloodborne pathogens and other training as
required by the District.
- Ability to satisfactorily perform all physical requirements of assigned tasks.
- Reports additional maintenance and repair requirements to the head custodian.
- Sufficient ability in the English language to respond to oral and written communications.
Ability to communicate in Spanish may be helpful.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervisor,
staff, students and the general public.
- Possess a valid Oregon driver's license.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform a variety of cleaning tasks in the maintenance of school classrooms, restrooms, hallways and other related facilities. Assist with maintenance and repair work during vacation periods, including painting, refinishing floors, and making minor repairs to fixtures and furniture.
SALARY: Salary and placement will be in accordance with the substitute pay rate of $13.87 per hour.
