Summit Learning Charter is a blended virtual charter school that is sponsored by the Estacada School District. We are looking to hire a Full Time Elementary Teacher to support our growing charter school and amazing school community.

Job Setting:
Summit Learning Charter has a unique Elementary Options Program (EOP) which serves primarily K-5 students. We are fortunate to offer a blended learning environment where we get to teach students at our on-site campus in Eagle Creek, our new off-site location in Tigard, as well as teach online from home.
This role will require someone who has the ability to teach K-5 students both virtually and in-person, creating lessons for both online and in-person that are easily adaptable for multiple grade and skill levels, as well as multiple subjects.
Necessary Skills:
Being an excellent communicator both verbally and through email is a huge requirement of this program. You will have to communicate with the families several times per week to log attendance, schedule assessments, monitor progress, provide instructional ideas to parents, and implement interventions when necessary.
Working as a team member in our vibrant and enthusiastic workplace/community is critical.
Applicants must demonstrate their experiences within a educational team to support student growth.
A willingness to provide a regular Physical Education or ART component to our students.
Essential Qualifications:
Must have Multiple Subject K-5 license
Strong organizational skills; knowledge of K-5 standards; knowledge of learning progressions for elementary-aged students.
Skilled in lesson plan development, implementation of learning activities, behavior management, assessment, and teaching to individual student skill levels.
Ability to communicate orally and in writing and build relationships with students, parents, and staff.
Evaluate achievement data and create appropriate action / feedback to maximize learning
Participate in all professional development, staff meetings, state testing proctoring, new student orientation
Candidates must have the ability to carry and load computers and supplies, and assist with delivery to our students.
Experience in the customer service environment
Ability to learn new technology tools quickly (web based tools, curriculum supports, database)
Ability to support and guide adults, as well as students
A flexible and adaptable attitude, and being able to work as part of a team, is a must!
Duties will include, but not limited to:

Salary range: $36,000 - $69,000
