The Estacada School District is adding to our very talented and skilled Technology team. We are looking for the right person who can take on this multifaceted IT Helpdesk technician position. This role takes on a variety of challenging tasks from troubleshooting technical issues to providing top-notch customer service and training which requires a diverse skill set. Communication, both in assisting users and providing training, is crucial. Ongoing collaboration with peers and seeking professional development opportunities along with continuous learning is a significant aspect of this role considering the need to stay updated with evolving technology trends. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma, or equivalent
- 2+ years directly related experience in helpdesk or other technology based customer service positions.
- Thorough knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in troubleshooting technology-related issues and using a helpdesk software system.
- Skills necessary to support desktops, laptops, chromebooks, ipads, etc.
- Experience training end users on software programs, hardware use, and basic troubleshooting to repair the most common technology issues.
- Experience writing clear instructions and manuals to build a knowledge base for end users.
- Ability to meet physical requirements for the position
- Must pass Fingerprint-based Criminal Background check that will be required at employee’s expense upon offer of employment
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Post secondary degree in related field.
- Certifications: CompTIA A+, CCNA, Microsoft Fundamentals, Google Workspace Administrator
- Skills to support, or willingness to learn, security access cards, printers, peripherals, VoIP, Google Workspace Management, Microsoft Azure, Active Directory, and other commonly adopted software.
- Experience with managing and analyzing data as well as data extraction, reporting and platform integration
- Knowledge of programming languages SQL, Python and experience with PowerShell and HTML/CSS.
- Understanding of basic technical network concepts and troubleshooting.
- Multi-task effectively while navigating multiple distractions and interruptions throughout the day.
- Remains positive and supportive of the school’s mission and philosophy at all times.
- Maintains positive, professional relationships with staff and community.
- Set a good example, and be a positive role model appropriate to a school setting.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
Up to 260-day position up to 8 hours per day; Member of the Classified Union. Salary and placement will be in accordance with the current Classified Agreement's salary schedule at Grade U. Salary dependent on experience. Benefits are available for this position.
